FIrst day in Koyto

After our egg sandwich and coffee we walked to the foot of the mountain beside the city.  So many beautiful trees covered with moss. I Didn't realise there are so many varieties of moss.  Temples and simply designed gardens lined the winding path beside a small stream.

I DIDN'T COUNT THE STEPS TO THE TOP OF THE TEMPLE.

A GOOD WALKING PATH AT THE ENTRANCE  TO FUSHIMI INARI-TAISHA, A VERY LONG  WINDING WALK UP THE MOUNTAIN.
